2009 SCI Portland Oregon Chapter Hunt Awards

Entries will be accepted for all species and categories per Safari Club International Trophy Records Committee guidelines. Awards will be given for the top three entries in each of the following categories:

• Dr. Laurel Brown award - for outstanding game trophy 2009
• Africa
• African Plains Game
• Asia
• Europe
• South Pacific
• South America
• Never Been Entered Before
• First Safari (Africa, plains game only)
• North America
• African Plains Game
• Alternate Methods
• Archery
• Exotics
• Ladies
• Youth

The Alternate Methods category includes handgun and muzzleloader. There will be only three awards in this category no matter where the trophy was taken or by what method.
Ladies and Youth do not have to be members of the chapter, but their spouse, parent, or grandparent has to be a member of the Portland Chapter. Multiple category awards may not be given to the same animal at the Awards Committee's discretion.

All entries except for, ”Never Been Entered Before”, must have been taken, received in shipment or measured (for the first time) between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009. An official SCI Measurer on an official SCI scoring sheet must score them.

Please submit information and score sheets for all entries to Chris Melgard along with a photo of the animal by April 4th, 2010. Chris can also arrange to score your entry if needed.
